We hope you and your kids are staying safe and getting to spend a lot of time together! This is a new season for all of us, but our hope is that you feel encouraged and hopeful every day!
If your family is anything like ours, your kids have started asking questions about the virus, why they can't go to school, or why their friends can't come over.
Knowing the right thing to say is hard, especially when there are so many uncertainties. We'd love to provide some resources for you to foster deep conversations with your kids about your feelings and theirs, especially if they feel anxious or nervous by this current situation in our country.
Not only is this season a time to be able to see our kids more and maybe pick up new hobbies together, but it's also a great time to begin teaching them about how to process their emotions in a healthy way. Anna will have some great resources for us as she will be here soon, but below we've attached guides for both Elementary students and Pre-School students.
Our hope is that you know we are FOR you and your families. We may be apart, but we are not alone. Our God is mighty and powerful. He hears our prayers, He offers peace, and He is sovereign over every situation!
We'll continue to create and provide content for you, as Anna will be joining us soon, we want you to be able to host church at home with your kids. Take the time and learn some of the memory verses together from the Awana program and play the CD from Kids Choir!
Please let us know if there's any way we can help!
