Pine Valley Baptist Church contributes thousands of dollars in our annual budget to support local benevolence needs in Wilmington and the surrounding region.  The Harrelson house provides shelter, clothing needs, food vouchers, and screens those who are in need and can provide basic necessities for those who are suffering through difficult transitions in life.  Pine Valley also contributes offerings specifically to the members and friends of our church who are struggling through difficult and unforeseen crises.  Everything that is done within these fields of benevolence is handled by our Senior Pastor and Deacons.  It is given with discretionary measures and with the utmost confidentiality.   Our goal is to provide a helping hand and not a simple hand out.  After applicants have filled out necessary forms for administration oversight, the deacons or pastoral staff assist in areas of need.
