Our Mission
Pine Valley Baptist Church is a local congregation of baptized believers attempting to fulfill the great commission (Mt. 28:18-20) and the great commandment (Mt. 22:36-40) beginning in the Wilmington area and stretching around the world.
The Great Commandment
36 “Teacher, which command in the law is the greatest?” 37 He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the greatest and most important command. 39 The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. 40 All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands.” Matthew 22
The Great Commission
18 Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28
