Anna desires to see families follow Jesus together, by equipping parents to lead in their homes, and teaching kids from an early age the Scriptures that will make them wise for salvation. Lynwood Nixon
Facilities Director
I was born in Erin, N.C. at the Good Hope Hospital on December 2, 1950. Married to Gwendolyn Marie Smith Dec 19, 1969.
Reborn into the Family of Jehovah during the Easter Revival at Long Leaf Baptist Church in 1971. I was Ordained to be a deacon in 1975 at Long Leaf Baptist Church. Gwen and I sang with the group Ichthys for eight years. The group and its soloists worked with Johnny Hunt as the main group supporting his ministry, we also became a main singing group for revivals around the TV6 viewing Area. It was wonderful to lift our voices in praise to Jehovah and to see His people rejoice with us. We were blessed from 1978 until 1986 to be able to be with Toby and Susan Frost and others in such an Anointed Group. After Ichthys was disbanded as God called Toby and Susan to Preach we sang with other groups for the next four years until I was called by God to Preach His Word. Gwen and I began to preach and sing as God opened doors for us. Within two years God had us on the road 50 weeks a year. We would do Revivals and Interim Pastorates as God would make available to us. In 2007 God brought us back home to care for my Mother. She had cancer, and she went to be with God on Mother’s Day 2009. We were one again able to go on the road doing God’s Work until 2012. Gwen’s Mother was sick and we were needed once again to take care of a Loved One. At the same time God was working with us about moving our church home. God chose Pine Valley Baptist Church as our new home. You my brothers and sisters know the rest of the story. Thank you for your Love and Prayers.
