When national or regional disasters occur, Pine Valley has shown a great ability to meet the needs of those adversely impacted through special offerings or partnerships which originate to assist those who have been impacted by hurricane, floods, mudslides, tornado, damaging weather or disastrous events.  In 2024, we partnered with Baptist Children’s Homes, local churches in Western North Carolina, mission agencies, food preparation and distribution centers.  We sent a team of members to work Disaster Relief with other Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Teams and with Samaritans Purse of Western North Carolina.   Pine Valley assisted with housing needs of several Disaster Relief teams and sent hundreds of new coats, heavy shirts, power equipment, back up batteries, and food and water supply teams sent out to impacted areas of Western North Carolina.
